I am Jasmin Sainju. Nepal is my home country. I am looking forward to get a bachelors
degree in Computer Science and most probably do a minor in Engineering.
I am quite stubborn at times and I think that's what keeps
me determined to achieve my goals. I
believe that one is where s/he chooses
to be and that faith has little to do with what happens in one's life. I am not
much of a party person. However, I love to laugh and talk to people. I haven't
read many books in my life but amongst the one that I read,
"Alchemist" is my favorite. This book is really inspiring. I plan to
read this book again sometimes.
Being the first child of my parents, I have learned to be
responsible, understanding and caring. I
love my parents like everyone else does.
I will make them proud one day . I come from a small town of Nepal and have
barely gone outside it. But here I am, in the USA all alone and unarmed. If it wasn't for "Skype",
"Viber" and "facebook", I don't know how I would live with
my family so far away. However, I chose this path and I am walking on it quite
well. I can't wait till I graduate and go back to my home.
I am not very fond of "writings". In my school,
I always skipped the Essay writing part
and now I regret doing that. To tell
the truth I am a bit scared for this ENGL class. The fact that English is a third language to
me, does nothing more but adds to my fear of writing. However, here I am,
taking this class, facing my fear with my fingers crossed. :)
